Bitlok DEX ("we", "us", or "our") is a decentralized exchange (DEX) platform that provides both same-chain swaps (on Binance Smart Chain via PancakeSwap) and cross-chain swaps (between different blockchain networks including TRON and BSC). We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring transparency in how we handle any information related to your use of our services. As a non-custodial service provider based in India, we do not collect, store, or process any personal data from users. Our platform operates on blockchain technology, where all transactions are public and pseudonymous. This Privacy Policy explains our practices in simple terms and complies with applicable Indian laws, including the Information Technology Act, 2000, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).

1. Introduction

Bitlok DEX is a decentralized application (dApp) that allows users to swap tokens directly on the blockchain without intermediaries. We offer two types of swaps: Same-Chain Swaps (token swaps within the same blockchain network using PancakeSwap) and Cross-Chain Swaps (token swaps between different blockchain networks through our relayer system). We do not hold your funds, private keys, or personal information. All interactions occur peer-to-peer via smart contracts. This Policy applies to our website (bitlokswap.com) and services. By using our platform, you consent to the practices described here.

We do not require user registration, email addresses, phone numbers, or any identifiable information. Your anonymity is preserved through blockchain's inherent design.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

As a non-custodial DEX, we do not collect any personal data:

  • No Personal Identifiable Information (PII): We do not ask for, store, or access your name, email, phone number, ID, or any other personal details.
  • No Tracking: We do not use cookies for personal tracking or analytics that identify users. Basic cookies (if any) are used only for session management on our site.

Your interactions (e.g., token swaps) are recorded on the BSC blockchain, which is public. We cannot link them to your real-world identity unless you voluntarily disclose it.

3. Information We May Indirectly Access

While we do not collect data, our platform may indirectly interact with:

  • Blockchain Data: Public transaction details from BSC, TRON, and other supported chains (e.g., wallet addresses, token amounts). This is visible to everyone on the respective blockchains and not controlled by us.
  • IP Address: Your IP address may be logged by our hosting provider for security and compliance reasons (e.g., to prevent DDoS attacks). We do not store or use it for tracking.
  • Device Information: Basic browser data (e.g., user-agent) may be accessed for compatibility, but not linked to you personally.

4. How We Use Information (If Any)

Since we collect no personal data, there is no usage. Any blockchain data accessed is solely for facilitating swaps via PancakeSwap smart contracts (for same-chain) or our relayer system (for cross-chain). We do not:

  • No Sharing: We do not share any user data because we do not collect it.

  • Blockchain Security: All swaps are secured by blockchain networks (BSC, TRON) and respective smart contracts. For cross-chain swaps, security also depends on our relayer system and bridge protocols. We recommend using hardware wallets and verifying contracts on BscScan and Tronscan.
  • Site Security: Our website uses HTTPS and standard web security practices. However, as a dApp, security depends on your wallet and browser.
  • No Liability: We are not responsible for losses due to phishing, smart contract bugs, or user errors.

7. User Rights

Under the DPDP Act, 2023, you have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Since we collect none, these rights do not apply. However:

  • Anonymity: Your on-chain activity is pseudonymous. To "delete" data, use a new wallet address on each respective blockchain.
  • Cross-Chain Data: Remember that cross-chain transactions are recorded on multiple blockchains. Each blockchain explorer maintains public records that are outside our control.

8. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

  • No Cookies: We do not use cookies for tracking or personal data collection.
