Bitlok Wallet Disclosure

Bitlok Wallet is a non-custodial software wallet. Users create and control their own wallet credentials and digital assets. Bitlok does not take custody of, hold, or control user funds, private keys, recovery phrases, or blockchain assets.

This disclosure is provided for transparency and does not replace professional legal, tax, or financial advice. Users must confirm that using cryptocurrency wallets and decentralized exchange services is lawful in their jurisdiction.

Wallet security

  • Never share your PIN, private key, or recovery phrase with anyone, including Bitlok support.
  • Write your recovery phrase on paper and store it securely offline. Anyone who obtains it can control the wallet.
  • Bitlok cannot recover a lost recovery phrase, reverse an unauthorized transaction, or restore assets sent to the wrong address.
  • Download the app only from official Bitlok distribution channels and beware of phishing or impersonation websites.

Digital-asset and swap risks

  • Digital-asset prices can change rapidly and you may lose some or all of the value of your assets.
  • Swaps interact with blockchain and third-party smart contracts, including PancakeSwap. Smart-contract bugs, low liquidity, slippage, network congestion, failed transactions, and gas fees may cause losses.
  • Confirmed blockchain transactions are generally irreversible. Always verify the token, contract address, amount, slippage, and network before signing.
  • Token balances, prices, and transaction data may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate because they depend on blockchain and third-party data sources.

No investment promise

Bitlok does not provide investment, trading, legal, or tax advice and does not promise profit, appreciation, liquidity, or any particular outcome. Bitlok does not promote cryptocurrency mining on a user's device and does not guarantee earnings from holding, trading, or using any token.

Regulatory and third-party services

Cryptocurrency rules vary by country and may change. Users are responsible for their own compliance, including any tax, reporting, licensing, or other legal obligations. Blockchain networks, RPC providers, wallet connectors, token issuers, and decentralized protocols are third-party services outside Bitlok's control and may become unavailable or change their terms.
